I visited North Berwick town and the East and Harbour beaches on a beautiful sunny Saturday in April.
The amazing family friendly beach was busy and soft sands were free of rubbish, stones and seaweed. There is a lovely outdoor seawater swimming pool and a busy harbour. The accessibility of the beach is one of the easiest I have seen on my travels, with parking on the front and a small wall over which you can hop and be on the beautiful sand.
You are in the town and close to the harbour with toilets, shops, restaurants, Lobster shacks, kids amusements and shops all on hand but without being vulgar.
I really liked this beach and with all the factors combined and the spectacular setting and backdrop its an 8 out of 10 and one of the best of its kind.
